Ryan and Binye’s wedding day was a beautiful celebration bringing together British and Chinese traditions. Their day began with an intimate wedding ceremony at Bexley Register Office, followed by family photographs and a romantic wedding couple photoshoot at Danson House.

As a wedding photographer, I love capturing the day as a complete story: the anticipation before the ceremony, emotional moments with family and friends, natural reactions during the vows, and relaxed portraits of the newly married couple afterwards.

Bexley Register Office at Danson House provides an elegant setting for a civil wedding ceremony in South East London. For Ryan and Binye, I photographed the arrival of the couple and their guests, the ceremony itself, the exchange of rings and those wonderful first moments after becoming husband and wife.
My approach to Bexley Register Office wedding photography is primarily documentary. I capture genuine expressions and interactions as they happen, while also providing gentle direction when it is helpful. After the ceremony, we continued with a Danson House wedding couple photoshoot. The historic architecture, elegant exterior and surrounding parkland offer plenty of opportunities for romantic wedding portraits without having to travel to another location.
Rather than spending hours posing, I prefer to keep the couple session relaxed and natural. I give simple guidance with walking, movement and positioning, allowing the couple to concentrate on each other rather than constantly looking at the camera.

For Ryan and Binye, this part of the day gave us a quieter moment together after the excitement of the ceremony. We created a mixture of classic portraits, walking photographs, close-up details and natural candid images around Danson House.

One of the most special elements of Ryan and Binye’s wedding was the combination of British and Chinese wedding traditions. Cultural details, family relationships and small moments throughout the day all became important parts of their photographic story.
